Oh my, Stacy Iest Hsu has done it again, she has made the perfect panel to purchase and make a great many things. Yes, I freely admit that I'm a fan of Stacy's panels. She makes the perfect panels to create what she intends and then a whole lot extra!
Above you see a darling quilt or playmat that you can make with a single panel and some of the Safari Life fabrics. You will need the panel to give you the center blocks. My husband really likes the part where the elephant ear says 'hi to you'. Always a good thing when Da Husband likes what you make.
I used a 6" yellow zebra border, fabulous fabric of course, and quilted away with a star design. The pocket for the puppets and hilarious elephant ear were added last.
Then for the extra fun part, you will have some pieces of fabric left from the panel, yes you will and they are lovely to use as well... that will be next.
